Rebates

Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative has been offering rebates to our members since 2010.  The rebate program entitled  "Take Control and Save" is administered through Associated Electric Cooperative Inc., a generation and transmission cooperative, whom which we purchase our wholesale power from.

ENERGY STAR ® WINDOW AIR CONDITIONING

The rebate amount is limited to 50 percent (50%) of the total cost of the unit

  • $150.00 per ton for indoor unit only

Rebate applications are available here and in both offices.

Members are required to complete an application, including a copy of the original dated sales receipt, and a completed rebate form submitted within 90 days of purchase that includes the product name and model number.  Incomplete applications will be denied.
 
Remember, your product must meet all qualifications stated on the rebate application to qualify for the CHEC rebate.  Rebates will be in the form of a credit to your electric account after verification for most rebates.  Rebates on heat pumps will be in check form.  When you buy ENERGY STAR  ® rated products, you are buying one of the most energy-efficient products on the market.

Return Take Control & Save rebate form, including the original copy of the sales receipt, with the date and proof of purchase price to Cookson Hills Electric, PO Box 539, Stigler, OK 74462.
